Mangalitsa dinner
We are currently in the process of planning a Mangalitsa pig dinner on Monday, August 10th. Aki and Alex from ideas in food will be joining us again as guest chef’s as well as Chef Michael Clampffer. We are very excited to be one of the first restaurants on the east coast to be offering the Mangalitsa pig. The pigs are being raised at Mosefund farm in Branchville, NJ. We will be receiving our first pig on July 13th which we will be using exclusively for charcuterie. Our second pig will arrive two days before the dinner which we will use for fresh preparations. More info on the Mangalitsa pigs can be found at: http://www.mosefund.com and http://woolypigs.blogspot.com/.
We will be serving an 9 course tasting menu for 130$.
The dinner will begin at 6:30. We also be passing hors d’oeuvres starting at 6:00pm
Communal seating only.
We will also be offering separate, beer and wine parings.
For booking information please call the restaurant directly at: 609.924.0078

I was wondering if you would be interested in a volunteer for this dinner? I would wash dishes, sweep, take out trash, pick herbs, anything you needed. I am a chef in Pittsburgh, I can send you my resume if you’re interested. I am an extremely hard worker, and I am also humble enough to know my place in someone else’s kitchen. I wouldn’t expect to, or be disappointed if I didn’t even get to touch food, I would just be very happy to take part in something like this dinner. I can be available the 8th, 9th, and 10th of August. Thank you.
